Pui Ha Sun
MANAGING & PROSE EDITOR
Pui Ha Sun (he/she) is a 17-year-old international student currently in the UK. Originally from Hong Kong, he has been in the UK since 2019. His life goal is to study literature or ancient history at a prestigious university while still being able to integrate and pursue a career in Art. She is currently studying English, Classics and Math in A-levels and her favourite books are Mistystar's Omen and The Alchemist.

Khadijah Khadjimedova
EXECUTIVE PROSE EDITOR
Khadija Khadjimedova is a writer and a prose editor that lives in the suburbs of America. She is the 2025 Sevierville Youth Poet Laureate, and a recipient of Interlochen’s Virginia B. Ball Scholarship. She has been awarded for her visual art by Arrowmont, Master’s Editions, and WonderWorks. Her best friend is her cat, Anya. Khadija can be found in the wild journaling, analyzing films, playing guitar, painting, taking random videos and photographs, ice-skating, and overthinking.

Chandler Holbrook

Chandler is a high school senior from the USA who enjoys reading, painting, and playing various instruments such as flute and piano. She is very excited to be working with such a fantastic team to bring you future issues of Youth of Letters.

Victoria Kitenge
WEBSITE MANAGER
Victoria (she/her) is the website editor of Youth of Letters, from South Africa. With her natural curiosity and a love for learning, she taught herself graphic design and aspires to pursue a flexible career path, not limited to design. She is involved with other literary magazines, namely The Narrative Literary Magazine, Dolce Zine and Cloud Gazer Magazine. Outside of work, she can be found curating a plethora of playlists on Spotify, reading, journaling and meditating.

Theo Colinares
PROSE EDITOR
Theo Colinares is a third year writing student at OCAD University and prose editor for Youth of Letters. His work has been featured in MJF Creative's Author Lookbook. He has also published a collection of poetry and prose in his chapbook, "Acheron: The River of Sorrow." When not writing, he spends his time watching movies with friends, reading, or café hopping.

Hafsa Hassan
PROSE EDITOR
Hafsa Hassan is currently doing her A-levels and enjoys talking everything pop. You will also find her info dumping book plots or obsessively curating her Letterboxd. She is eager to work with Youth of Letters to deliver stories that can hopefully inspire and empower young adults, and enthusiasts of literature.

Rayne Alarico
POETRY EDITOR
Rayne Alarcio (they/he) has work published or forthcoming in Cimarron Review, Exposition Review, at LAX's Terminal 7-8, and elsewhere. They are a two-time LA Youth Poet Laureate Honorable Mention, and once opened for slam poet Caroline Rothstein. In his free time, he plays Warrior in FFXIV. Their goal as a poetry editor is to find and uplift a diversity of voices.

Muhammed bin Zailan
POETRY EDITOR
Muhammad bin Zailan is a Singapore-based poet and a first-year diploma student studying Chemical Engineering at Singapore Polytechnic. His poetry has been shared at open mics and has received recognition for its striking imagery. On his lazy days, you can find him enjoying Quadratini wafer biscuits or unhealthily listening to Rauw Alejandro's music.

Bella (they/them) is an artist, dancer, and writer from the Bay Area. Aside from being a lover of psychological horror and R&B music, they are someone who pens stories involving the monstrosity in the mundane, how grief and warmth last, and the phenomenon of girls in love with the world and its void.

Sebastian Karall

Sebastian Karall is an emerging poet and writer from Woodstock, Ontario. He recently graduated from Huron at Western University with a BA in English Literature and Creative Writing, where he served as the editor of Huron’s long-standing poetry publication, Grubstreet, for two years. He is a current MFA Candidate in Creative Writing at the University of Guelph.

Jo Galvez is a 28-year-old general editor of Youth of Letters from the Philippines. Her works have found their homes in minimag., Alien Buddha Press, Tree & Stone Magazine, Inquirer Young Blood, and others. In her free time, she likes to listen to music, read, and play with her cats.

Daisy is a 21-year-old English Literature major, currently living in Edinburgh where she is a writer, columnist and editor for several publications. She loves the sea, Virginia Woolf, folk music, horror writing, knitted scarves, black nail polish, living in cities, cats and Joni Mitchell. Her favourite book is We Have Always Lived In The Castle by Shirley Jackson.

Emily Yin is a sophomore in high school and lives in the United States. She has been writing creatively for three years, and her work has been recognized by Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Alisha Sapkota (16) is a Visual Media Editor for Youth of Letters. A graphic design enthusiast, she brings her experience as the graphic designer for her school magazine to her role, where she’s eager to help shape the creative vision and visual identity of the organization. Outside of work, Alisha enjoys exploring digital art, photography, and design, and has a passion for storytelling through visuals.

Victoria is an aspiring storyteller and content creator. She is currently a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) student from Melbourne. An avid blogger, she spends her free time writing weekly musings, and innovating a blog that cuts through the noise. Things that make her heart happy include a cozy mystery, the sun, travel, feel-good music and dancing.

Joann Fetner is a 17-year-old college student at New York University majoring in Philosophy. Born in Vietnam but raised in Australia, she is particularly interested in creative design and hence digital marketing. When she is not playing around in Photoshop or Canva, you can find her reading a book, hanging out with friends, listening to music, or going for a long walk.

Through her blog, Dead End Club, she offers a space for those feeling stuck to find hope and new beginnings through films, music, books, and nature trips. In her free time, she enjoys watching films and discovering new perspectives through storytelling.

Guadalupe Miranda is a Senior at CSUN studying Creative Writing. She has had work published in the Pomona Valley Review and the Northridge Review, as well as other lit mags on Instagram—the most recent being with FlowerMouth Press and Aashiyana Literature Magazine. When she is not worrying about life after graduation, she is scavenging second hand bookstores for her newest treasure.

Aysha Nur
STAFF WRITER
Aysha is a 15-year-old from the DMV, whose interests lie in anything that could inspire her creative endeavors. She spends her free time scrolling Wiki pages, sketching an idea she had on her bus ride home, blasting music, or reading foreign literature. With a future in journalism, she dabbles in various art mediums and written styles to bring her own perspective to what she calls ‘a dying craft’.

Kei Solis is a teen writer, poet, and artist from the Philippines. She served as a senior writer/editor for the literary category in her school journalism club. Kei is also part of several literary magazine publications such as the Meraki Review, the Scarlet Heir, and Dolce Zine as a writer. She writes to stir souls, to unearth truths, to dig between the lines.
